Welcome to Heartstone Country Retreat. An elegant country setting tucked away in the rolling farmlands of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, only four miles from the heart of historic downtown Lexington.
Our Retreat Center is a 6000 sq ft facility with full catering kitchen, overnight lodging options, large stone fireplace, grand piano and cultivated gardens and grounds, perfect for events up to 150 people.

Our History
Barney Brown & Antonia Albano, purchased this 250 acre property in 2003. Both Barney and Antonia have lifelong interests in the arts, music, business, healing arts and the natural environment, experiencing life as an integrated whole. Over the past two decades, they grew Heartstone Country Retreat into a treasured gathering place and retreat center. In 2026, local chef and owners of Lexington Catering Company; George Huger and wife Sue Ann took the reins of Heartstone...
